A son of former Jatiya Party lawmaker Karimuddin Vorosha was arrested from a rehabilitation centre for drug addicts in the city's Uttarkhan area yesterday on charge of killing his younger brother.Police arrested Kabirul Islam Vorosha from “Hope and Life” at around 12:00 noon. Kabirul gunned down his younger brother Khairul Islam Vorosha at later's office at Bijoynagar on April 27. Later, a murder case was filed. Kabirul told newsmen at Paltan Police Station that on the day he locked into a quarrel with his brother Khairul who was managing director of New Age Tobacco as he (Khairul) refused to pay him Tk 75 lakh for a cold storage of Rangpur.Kabirul said during the quarrel, he was addicted and shot three shots at Khairul that left him dead.Police said he went into hiding after the killing and later got admitted to the centre identifying himself as Helal.
